The Bruno Food Shelf began in 1987 with a small closet in Trinity Lutheran Church. For over thirty five years this small congregation has served the area from Askov to Kerrick and surrounding areas. The food shelf is now attached to the Daisy’s of Bruno Thrift Store on Main Street in Bruno. The food shelf is open three days a week, operated by volunteers who sort, stack and pack the food. This mission is self supporting through private donations, non profits and funds raised by the congregation.
